The Crowne Plaza hotel (also previously known as Somerset Plaza and Somerset Marriott) is located at 110 Davidson Ave., near the intersection of I-287 and Easton Ave. in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, NJ, between South Bound Brook and Piscataway.
From Piscataway and South and East, including I-287 and Routes 1, 18, 27, 440 and the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway:
Take I-287 North to Exit 10, marked Route 527, New Brunswick. This is the exit for Easton Ave. Take the exit and proceed North, following signs for Easton Ave., South Bound Brook or 527 North. At the first traffic light, make a left hand turn onto Davidson Ave. Look for the Crowne Plaza hotel, which will be the second building on your left.
From South Bound Brook and West, including I-78 and I-80, Routes 202, 206:
Take I-287 South to Exit 10, marked Route 527, New Brunswick. Follow the exit ramp, and stay to your left. At the first chance you get, turn left (there is a left turn lane, a sign with the logos of a number of hotels on it, and a very small sign for Easton Ave.) Follow that road onto Easton Ave. going North. At the first traffic light, make a left-hand turn onto Davidson Ave. Look for the Crowne Plaza hotel, which will be the second building on your left.
From Bound Brook, points North and East, and Routes 22 and 28:
Take Route 22 or 28 to Mountain Ave. in Bound Brook. Take Mountain Ave. South to its end, and turn left onto Main St. in Bound Brook. After one traffic light, bear right past the fire station, go under the railroad underpass and proceed over two bridges. Bear left at the first traffic light, onto Main St. in South Bound Brook. Go straight for about two miles (this street will turn into Easton Avenue). At the first traffic light past the end of South Bound Brook, (just before the I-287 interchange), turn right onto Davidson Ave. and look for the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which will be the second building on the left. (If you pass I-287 on Easton Ave., you’ve gone too far and you need to turn around and follow the signs for South Bound Brook. Then turn left onto Davidson Ave. and find the hotel on your left.)
